The look, which combined straight, wide jeans with a high waist, a short type-2 jacket, and a pair of heavy work boots, became canonical for many denimheads for many years.
However, we would like to note that wide-leg jeans are no longer exclusively for vintage style enthusiasts. These jeans have become a fashion trend and fit perfectly into modern street style. Nowadays, this style goes very well with a hoodie or oversized T-shirt and a pair of light sneakers. This fit of jeans is very comfortable, clearly inspired by vintage style, and yes, it is now a fashion trend. TCB Jeans
The TCB brand is well known among fans of classic Japanese retro and vintage styles. As a rule, the manufacturer pays special attention to the specifics of denim, which is very close to a certain historical era, as well as authentic details. TCB 30’s Jeans C 14.1oz WIDE STRAIGHT
This model is based on the style of work jeans from the 1930s. It has a spacious straight cut with a high waist. The jeans are made of medium-weight classic denim. Please note one important detail: TCB jeans now have a blue tab instead of a red one.
Special details characteristic of this period include a cinch back for adjusting the size at the back and an additional rivet, the crotch rivet.
40s-style jeans occupy a special niche among Japanese retro clothing. These jeans are deliberately rough in appearance, but this is done in such a way that we are presented with a vivid image of something from the past. The cut of these jeans also has a straight, wide silhouette.
Very dark denim with a naturally uneven texture and recognizable vintage details.
A very interesting and unexpected release for many TCB Jeans fans. This model is based on the classic TCB 50’S release. Here, the brand has moved away from vintage styling and created true street style jeans, but using the same denim and detailing as the classic TCB 50’S model.
Here we see a very wide straight cut that does not restrict movement at all. These jeans, with their relaxed, comfortable style, go very well with oversized T-shirts or sweatshirts.
As for the denim, here we see exactly the same 13.5 oz denim woven from Zimbabwean cotton as in the classic version of this model.

These jeans are from the eco-friendly Green Label series. They feature a wide silhouette and high rise. The main focus is on the fabric composition, as this model uses recycled cotton. This gives the denim a beautiful natural texture. The denim density is above average at 16 oz.
Big John uses a cloth patch with a duck image, a green tab, and interesting, distinctive details inspired by vintage styles.
BIG JOHN M101 (41) 15OZ WAIST OVERALL DUCK WIDE STRAIGHT
These jeans are made in the vintage style of the early 20th century. They can be worn with suspenders. The main feature is the use of American organic Fox Fiber cotton. This cotton has a natural brown color and does not require dyeing. Duck canvas weave and 15OZ density are used.
Vintage details are very noticeable here, such as additional buttons for attaching suspenders, a high coin pocket, and a cinch back. This makes these jeans an exceptionally interesting product for lovers of vintage style without any compromises.

The details are designed in the style of the main Samurai Jeans collection. Leather patch with an image of two samurai, vintage-style buttons with an aged effect.
Studio D’Artisan
This brand is one of the most iconic and respected among Japanese jeans manufacturers. In the late 1980s, Studio D’Artisan was part of the famous “Osaka 5” association. This manufacturer is highly skilled in producing jeans from classic denim, and SDA always has wide-leg jeans in its collections.

A straight, roomy cut. The main feature of these jeans is their chic denim with a distinctive texture. It is woven on vintage GL3 shuttle looms.
The jeans feature a classic set of details characteristic of the Studio D’Artisan brand: a leather patch, embroidered arches, vintage-style buttons, and copper rivets.
Studio D’Artisan SD102-CB 15oz Cinch-back jeans loose straight
These jeans belong to the basic 100 series. They are made from 15OZ denim with a smoother texture. As a rule, this type of denim produces a gradual but very contrasting fade.
One of the unusual details of these jeans is the cinch back, which gives this model a special vintage character.

Japan Blue J504 12.5oz Loose Fit Model Soft Selvedge Denim
